I suppose because we had to eat them so often when we had no money.
I remember when pot pies were 4 for a dollar.
And I remember when they went up to 3 for a dollar.
I am glad to say I don't know what they cost today.
However, I couldn't pass up this massive Chicken Pot Pie from Costco today.
It cooked up perfectly,
the crust was light and flaky,
and it was quite tasty.
All in all a good choice for an easy dinner.
