June 28, 2012 - 54 Years

My parents married 54 years ago today.
(My soon to be 32 years of marriage doesn't compare.)


My parents are a wonderful example of married love, and My mom continues to carry that love with her every day even though dad is no longer here.
Mom, thank you for continuing to inspire me, guide me, and be a loving example.
I am blessed to have you as a parent.

and Powells bookstore when it's followed up by Voodoo donuts.

Today I had the pleasure of exploring Mt Angel Abbey.
I should/could have visited this place long before today, but yet haven't.
But no regrets.
Being able to experience and explore this place with Fr Jose', Blake, and Caroline today was perfect.

Today was moving day (back home) for Caroline. That gave us an opportunity to see Gabe again. It's always a delight, even when he is eating dirt.
